This exhibition proposes a journey through various approaches in the fields of theoretical physics and microbiology, seeking to see what cannot be seen. It responds to cosmological considerations, while also concerning itself for visualisation processes carried out to be able to see cells and tissues in microbiology. The artist strives to trace out connections between the worlds of microcosms and macrocosms, and suggests that we follow along with her to perceive beyond the experimental world, there amongst the imaginary realms of science and poetry.
This exhibition responds to the irresistible lure of doing and looking like one is doing. It proposes new interpretations of the world in an effort to make visible or intuit that which cannot be seen, there the artist is not looking to illustrate but to respond to scientific landscapes, all the while enlivening a dialogue between science and art, between objectivity and subjectivity, addressing the different ways of seeing that which cannot be seen.
