The Fundació Vila Casas offers guided visits at all its museums and galleries, both in Barcelona and the Empordà region of Catalonia. Via a tour of exhibits the viewer is plunged into the creative universe of the artist and wins a closer understanding of the works.

Painting collection: The Can Framis Museum
It exists three possibilities to visit the painting collection of the Museum Can Framis in a more specialized way: Guided visit by appointment (English); weekend visit in Catalan and Spanish (no appointment is required) and information dossiers (also in English) available at the museum reception.
Guided visit by appointment. Visit of the permanent exhibition with a specialist in contemporary art. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. Maximum 25 people per group. Languages: Catalan, Spanish and English. Approx. duration of visit: 1.15hr.
Timetable: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00am – 4:30pm. Sunday, 10:00am – 12:30pm.Price per group: Tuesday – Saturday, €50; Sunday and public holidays, €60; visits in English, €92. Payment to be made in advance, by bank transference. Weekend guided visits, without previous booking.
From 26 September 2012 to 10 February 2013, there is a visit every Saturday at 12:00pm of the museum’s temporary exhibition: "Agustí Centelles. Una crònica fotogràfica. Anys 30". Minimum 5 people. Languages: Catalan or Spanish. Approx. duration of visit: 1hr. Price: €5 per person.

On the occasion of the exhibition Clave 100 Anys the Museu Can Framis offers, inside the itinerary of the permanent collection, guided tours of the temporary exhibition on Saturday and Sunday at 12 p.m.

An explanation of the building of the Can Framis Museum of Contemporary Painting. The level of technical information is adapted to the interests of visitors on each tour. Maximum 25 people per group. Languages: English, Catalan or Spanish. Appox. duration of tour: 1hr. The tours are by the architect Anna Argelagós i Millan.
Price per group: Tuesday to Friday, 50€; weekedns and holidays open to public, 60€; visits in English, 92€.

Modernist and contemporary architecture: the architectural heritage of the Fundació Vila Casas in Barcelona
Two tours explaining the architecture of the Fundació Vila Casas buildings in Barcelona, one of Espai Volart and Espai Volart 2 (modernist dated from the beginings of the 20th Century) and the other of Can Framis (contemporary rehabilitation). The level of technical information is adapted to the interests of visitors on each tour. Maximum 20 people per group. Languages: English, Catalan and Spanish. The apporx. duration of tours are 1 hr. (Espai Volart and Volart 2) and 1 hr. (Can Framis). The tours are by the architect Anna Argelagós i Millan.
Prices per group: combined tour (Can Framis and Espai Volart and Volart 2): 90€*; each tour, Tuesday to Friday, 50€ and Saturdays and Sundays, 60€.
* The cost of public transport between sites (bus or metro) is not included in price of tour.
