The latest edition of Dialogues with the Collection explores the artistic affinities between the poetic work of the photographer Carme Masià (Girona, 1952) and Nakazora 828, a piece from the collection by the Japanese artist Masao Yamamoto (Gamagori, 1957).
The aim of these dialogues is to offer new viewpoints on works from the permanent collection and establish points of contact, either through parallels or opposites, between very different artists. In this case the synergies between the artists manifest themselves in gentle and subtle forms suggesting a deceptive simplicity associated with the objects thus revered.
