The exhibition is of 30 pieces, including sculptures and maquettes, produced by Moisès Villèlia (Barcelona, 1928-1994) from the 1980’s until 1992. Conceived as an essay in which an analysis of the artist’s sculptural language – in his work with bamboo as well as with fibre cement and metal pipes – displays a poetic subtlety with its perforated material and organic forms drawn in space, the show is an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the world of an artist now regarded as an important figure in 20th century Spanish sculpture.
