The exhibition Sobre los mismos pasos (In the Same Footsteps) by the artists Gregori Iglesias and Sabela Eiriz invites us to reflect on travel and all that which is in continual transit and is shaped as the creative process progresses. The show, which is on at the Espais Volart until 22 July, combines the world of emotion and sensation with an attentive and documenting approach to one of the most catastrophic episodes in contemporary history.
Via a dialogue between the artists and the philosopher and writer Josep Maria Esquirol, historical time will be dialled back and universal emotions will be talked about with the paintings and photographs of the two artists used as an emotional conduit leading to the inevitable solitude.
