For St George’s Day the Can Framis Museum is offering a children’s workshop which combines art with cookery.
Taking books and roses as its starting point, children will draw parallels between food and the artistic techniques used in a selection of works from the collection. They will use a plate as a support and create art on it, inspired by the textures and elements they have spotted in the works they have first seen on a tour of the museum.
On Saturday 22 April from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, the Can Framis Museum will demonstrate to children over four years old that painting and cooking are not always as different as they seem and that the two together may yield surprising results.
