Can Mario, Palafrugell
The Spring Festival is probably one of the most firmly-rooted and traditional fiestas held in Palafrugell. It started when the carnival was banned in 1963 and has become an important event in Palafrugell, with much of the population joining in its various activities.
This year Can Mario is contributing to the occasion with an Open Doors session during the morning of Sunday 4 June and invites everyone to explore its collection of over 220 sculptures, dating from the 1960s to the present day, by artists born or living in Catalonia.
