Cirlot and Artists from the Correo de las Artes, 1957-1962 is an exhibition of some 30 works by informalist artists made between 1957 and 1962, period during when the journal Correo de las Artes was published. Coinciding with the centenary of Cirlot’s birth, the show reflects the close ties the critic maintained with some of the informalist artists associated with the publication.
On Wednesday 26 April at 6 pm the curator of the exhibition, Joan Gil, will lead the public on a guided visit intended to help us gain insights into one of the most influential creative figures of the 20th century; the poet, composer, essayist and art critic Juan Eduardo Cirlot.
Places must be booked in advance. Telephone 93 481 79 80 or email press@fundaciovilacasas.com. The price of the activity is included in the general entrance fee (€1).
