On the coming 28 and 29 November, the 15th edition of the Fira en el Record (The Living History Fair) is taking place in Torroella de Montgrí as part of the Fair of Sant Andreu. It is a historic and cultural journey that starts with the original Villa Torrocella in 888 and takes us up to the Middle Ages and the Counts of Barcelona.
As every year, the Palau Solterra Museum of Contemporary Photography is taking part in the event with free entry on the days of the fair and a guided visit, centred on the 18th-century chapel master Anselm Viola Valentí, which is included in the tour that takes in visits to the Museum of the Mediterranean, the Palau lo Mirador, Can Negre, the Convent dels Agustins, and Casa Galibern. The tours are at 12 noon and 6.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
